The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Hungary recently hosted a high-level meeting between H.E. Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, and the management of Custom Wind Solution Plc., marking an important step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation and sustainable development.
During the discussions, the parties explored a wide range of collaboration opportunities in renewable energy, with a particular focus on advanced solutions in wind power. In addition, innovative technologies applicable to the oil, gas and mining industries were also highlighted as potential areas for joint development, reflecting the shared commitment to modernising traditional sectors through sustainable and efficient solutions.
Special attention was given to the possibilities of working together with Astana Hub, Central Asia’s leading international innovation cluster, as well as to facilitating the registration of Hungarian companies on the platform of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). These frameworks offer promising pathways for fostering cross-border investment, supporting start-ups and scale-ups, and accelerating the commercialisation of innovative technologies.
As a concrete outcome of the meeting, the parties agreed that a delegation of Hungarian experts will visit Kazakhstan in the near future to further explore innovation-driven cooperation and to develop specific project proposals in the field of green energy. This upcoming visit is expected to lay the groundwork for long-term partnerships and practical joint initiatives.
The Embassy of Kazakhstan reaffirmed its strong commitment to deepening cooperation with Hungarian companies that are actively engaged in sustainable and forward-looking solutions, emphasizing the shared vision of building a greener, more innovative economic future through international collaboration.
